Today begins the annual Great Backyard Bird Count. I'll be peeking my head out now and then to see who's around, and at the end of each day I just go to the web site and record my results. Lots of fun! You don't have to do all four days, nor do you need to be a bird expert. If all you recognize are Blue Jays and Chickadees, then you can just keep track of them.
